What to expect when you hire a chef at your villa:
Our chef will arrive at your accommodation and prepares a full lunch or evening meal from the ground up using fresh local produce and home-made ingredients. Whenever possible, we use organic produce and offers a number of traditional and innovative menus (see below) but the final menu is always personalised to meet your wishes, including local wines to accompany your meal, if desired.
Where our chefs travel:
Anywhere within the Tuscany - Siena - Chianti region and if you are staying in Tuscany outside Chianti please feel free to inquire, as we have chefs throughout all of Tuscany.
Available Services:
Deliciously prepared meals for a single meal to an entire week or monthly stay in your private villa
Included: All food materials, table wine, bottled water, the cooking, food brought to your table in serving dishes. (If you wish to have a waiter who serves everyone individually, this is easily available for an extra fee.)
Cooking Lessons in Your Private Villa
The course is for a minimum of 2 persons.
A typical hands-on cooking lesson is typically held in the morning and is 3 to 4 hours in length, plus the duration of the lunch
Lessons are in English. A French or German interpreter can be arranged upon request for an additional fee
The price of the cooking lesson includes all materials, the practical lesson in the kitchen and serving the meal at the table in serving dishes.
The main emphasis of the cooking lesson is on the preparation and stuffing of homemade pasta.
We are open to all requests, so feel free to ask if you have a particular favorite that you would enjoy learning how to prepare in the Tuscan tradition
Those who dine, but do not participate in the course will be charged at a rate half that of the price the price of the cooking lesson.
