Description of the your day in Chianti:
Enjoy a full day in the beautiful rolling countryside of Chianti where you will enjoy a wonderful hands-on cooking lesson with your friendly and warm hosts who will share their love and passion for their food and home-cooked meals with you, as well as serve as your personal escort to your visit to a Chianti winery
If you are staying in Florence, you will take a bus to Greve in Chianti, where your hosts will greet you at 9:00 am and escort you to their farmhouse villa in Chianti.
You'll be welcomed with a warm cappuccino and a Tuscan snack before you begin your cooking lesson.
The hands-on class covers traditional, home-style Tuscan and Italian recipes. Many people like this approach as they come away feeling they've had a real holiday, having enjoyed the wonderfully intense flavors & freshness of traditional Italian dishes cooked in an evocative stone farmhouse in the hills of Chianti, surrounded by vineyard & olive groves.
The cooking classes are held in a friendly atmosphere and include a multi-course meal including an appetizers, a pasta dish, a vegetable or meat dish and then a dessert is prepared is accompanied by the wine which best complements it.
Upon completion of your day, your hosts will drive you back to Greve where you will catch a bus back to Florence or back to the host's villa if you have provided your own transportation. We will be more than happy to assist you with arranging transportation to/from Florence via bus - please inquire at time of booking.

Terms of Payment and Cancellation Policy:
A non-refundable deposit of 56 Euro per person is due to confirm your lesson. The remaining balance of 224 euro per person is due in cash on the day of the excursion (euro only please).
The deposit is non-refundable unless the class is canceled by the school itself for unforeseen reasons at which time any monies paid will be returned in full, less credit card or wiring fees. Please note that the price does not include transportation to/from Greve in Chianti or room and board.
We highly advise you to purchase travel insurance in the event of emergency, illness, change in your itinerary, accident or act of God, which we are not responsible for covering. Under no circumstances shall we be held responsible for any additional refunds of purchases made by the students for travel related expenses, or otherwise.
