About the Sorrento Cooking School & Cooking Vacation
One of the many fascinating aspects of traveling in a foreign country is undoubtedly the rich tradition and culture represented by its regional cuisine.
In Campania, particularly in Sorrento, the local cuisine has retained its tradition of simple and quick preparation, and the use of fresh ingredients enhances the aroma of each dish.

Welcome to the Sorrento Cooking School, located within the holiday resort Giardino delle Esperidi situated in Sant’Agnello di Sorrento, a mere 1 km away from the city center of Sorrento and only a few steps away from the Bay of Naples and such famous local attractions as the Amalfi Coast and Capri.
All classes offered by the Sorrento Cooking School are hands-on and conducted in English. Cooking classes typically are held each morning, however, the schedule may be altered upon request of the students in order to visit local landmarks and other similar excursions such as a fabulous trip to Pompeii or Mount Vesuvius.
Each cooking class lasts approximately 3 hours and is followed by either lunch or dinner based on the lesson's subject.
The menus are composed of an appetizer, first course (gnocchi), a main course and a dessert. Meals are accompanied by suitable wines and refreshing mineral water.
Although cooking instructors at the Sorrento Cooking School may vary, each chef has ample experience in cooking classic, authentic Italian cuisine. In fact, many of the chef instructors at the Sorrento Cooking School have experience working in the most famous restaurants in Italy and abroad and are members of the International Culinary Association ( IACP).
