Day One

Upon Arrival at either the Naples International Airport (Capodichino), or Naples train station (Centrale), you will be located and greeted by your hosts who will drive you to Sant'Agnello di Sorrento to settle in to your accommodations.
Join fellow travelers for dinner at 8:00 pm.

Day Two

A guided tour of Naples: After breakfast you will join your host for a visit to Naples, the third largest city in Italy today. Naples was founded in 5th century B.C. and was once one of the most famous capitals of Europe, second to Paris.

While in Naples, you will join your host for a walk along the streets of the historical centre to see presentations of the Nativity scene. You will also visit the Monastery of San Gregorio Armeno which assumed the name of the neighborhood.

The Monastery was originally built in AD 725 with further additions made in 1574 and 1577. Afterwards, you will continue on to the famous Monastery of Santa Chiara and other beauties of the oldest architectures in Naples.

In the afternoon, you return to Mami Camilla for a demonstration of Neapolitan Pizza making in the typical wooden oven. Our chef will show you many different simple ways to dress the pizza; he will explain the origin of this art, the composition of the special oven, and many other secrets that make the Neapolitan pizza the best in the world.

Day Three

A guided tour to Reggia (Royal Palace) Vanvittelliana at Caserta. Reggia Vanvittelliana is a monumental complex; created by the Bourbon King Charles III in the mid-18th century to rival Versailles and the Royal Palace in Madrid is exceptional for the way in which it brings together a magnificent palace with its park and gardens, as well as its surrounding natural landscape. It is an eloquent expression of the Enlightenment in material form, integrated into, rather than imposed on its natural setting.

Back to Mami Camilla for lunch and local sightseeing in the afternoon. You will visit Cathedral San Pietro e Paolo and the historical centre San Francesco cloister. Dinner at Mami Camilla.

Day Four

Beginning the new year with healthy gourmet cooking and fun tours of historical sites in Italy. Join your chef at the market to learn about local produce and spices in this unique day. Back from the market, you will get into the mood for celebrating our own historical moment, say “ciao” to the old year by preparing your final dinner of the program.

Under the guidance of your professional chef, Biagio, you will have a cooking experience of a lifetime orchestrating an energizing multi-course authentic Neapolitan holiday feast. After midnight you are welcome to visit the main square in Sorrento to enjoy the fireworks and welcome the New Year.

Day Five

Take the morning to relax and then our chef will teach the basic secrets of the Mediterranean cuisine which is famous for a low-fat, low-calorie contents yet delicious traditional cooking. After dinner, Mamì Camilla will organize “ la Tombolata” game with prizes.

Day Six

Guided tour of Capri. After arriving Capri by ferry, you will visit Villa S. Michele in Anacapri and Augusto's garden. You may also have a boat tour to "grotta azzurra", a picturesque cave indenting the island's high, precipitous coast. Return to Mamì Camilla for a leisurely dinner.

Day Seven

Private transfer to the Naples airport. Time to say arriverderci and Buon Viaggio!

Upon confirmation of availability, a deposit of 30% and the completed and submitted registration form will secure your reservation.

Final payment is due in full 60 days before your arrival date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your classes within 21 days of arrival date a 70% refund will be made (less a $50 per person, non-refundable booking fee). If less than 21 days, no refund will be made. Cancellations must be received by fax and will not be accepted over the phone.

Should the school need to cancel your class, a full refund, less a $50 per person, non-refundable booking fee, will be made. Any complaints must be made before the end of your stay or they will not be honored.

The school reserves the right to alter its programs. No refund or make-up classes will be provided to students who miss their scheduled classes.
