DESCRIPTION OF YOUR WEEK IN SORRENTO
Day One
Upon arrival in Naples (airport or train station), a driver will bring you to Sant'Agnello di Sorrento - your home for the week.
Your accommodation will be in a very nice family style bed and breakfast where you will find a comfortable double bedroom with an independent bathroom, offering absolute peace and tranquillity. At leisure, you will be able to discover the little town of Sorrento an experience rich in surprises.
At dinner time you will stay with the family and enjoy true Italian culture first hand.
Day Two
After breakfast you will begin your first Italian language lesson. The course will be geared towards your level of knowledge of the Italian language. We want you to make the most of your stay in Sorrento, so please indicate your level of knowledge to us upon booking and we will customize a course specifically for you.
Free time for lunch. Your guide will accompany you via car/minivan to the ancient marine town of Positano for a unique view of the Amalfi coast and the chance to experience the natural beauty of this area.
Return to the school for your first hands-on cooking class preparing a complete four-course menu including an appetizer, first and second course and a dessert.
Day Three
In the morning you will wake to enjoy a nice breakfast, followed by your second Italian language lesson. Free time to relax and enjoy Sorrento before returning to the school for your second cooking class, followed by dinner with your fellow students and guests of the B & B.
Day Four
After your third Italian language class, you will join your group on an excursion to Pompeii, less than half an hour away, to visit the fascinating excavations of the Roman town buried by Vesuvius' volcanic eruption in 79 AD.
Your final cooking class will involve the preparation different kinds of appetizers and vegetable side dishes.
The chef will teach you how to prepare a typical Neapolitan style seafood dish. Examples include marinating fresh Mediterranean anchovies, salmon and swordfish in native Meditteraneon olive oil and fresh herbs..
For dessert, you will be invited out to one of the most elegant bars in Sorrento to enjoy an evening stroll and to have a mouth-watering ice cream with a typical taste of limoncello.
Day Five
After your Italian class you will go to visit the village of Sant' Agata, where you can admire the view of "Due Golfi" the Bays of Naples and Salerno with views of Capri, Ischia, Li Galli.
From the hills you will reach the quaint little village of Massa Lubrense, where you sit down for a coffee or tea in front of a breathtaking sunset. Return to your host's home for dinner with your fellow students and guests of the B & B.
Day Six
Today you will attend your last Italian class. For dinner, you will join your group with a delicious meal to celebrate the end of your Italian experience.
Day Seven
Your host will present you with your exclusive apron and recipe book which includes all the
dishes made during your stay.
Checkout at noon. Private transfer to Naples airport or train station. "Arriverderci" and "Buon Viaggio"!

Upon confirmation of availability, a deposit of 30% and the completed and submitted registration form will secure your reservation.
Final payment is due in full 60 days before your arrival date.
This program is held March through December, based on availaibility. Weeks begin on Sunday and end Saturday.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel your classes within 21 days of arrival date a 70% refund will be made (less a $50 per person, non-refundable booking fee). If less than 21 days, no refund will be made. Cancellations must be received by fax and will not be accepted over the phone.
Should the school need to cancel your class, a full refund, less a $50 per person, non-refundable booking fee, will be made. Any complaints must be made before the end of your stay or they will not be honored.
The school reserves the right to alter its programs.
No refund or make-up classes will be provided to students who miss their scheduled classes.
